    Default Santa was very nice...

I got the ES 8.8 mm 82° EP and the Tele Vue 18.2 mm DeLite EP for Christmas. Wow. In addition I got a 2" OIII filter, a dew shield for the EVO, vibration suppression pads and a steady pix adaptor for my 6+ iPhone (fits too). I still want the ES 18 mm 82° EP though, to round out the collection. All in all, I had an outstanding Christmas. Now, I won't see clear skies for a month!

Please share what Santa brought you all for Christmas. I hope your lists were all checked off. Clear skies.
    Susan

Nice gifts! Give Santa some nice hugs for those gifts. Waiting for your first light report, especially since we are under similar skies.

My only Astro-gear was a hardcase for my binoculars. My other gifts were non-Astro hobby gear. So happy as well.

Santa came early for me! He brought a Sirius EQ-G mount with an Orion ED80 refractor and an ASI174mm camera :-) I also got a gift card which will be a Nebula filter. I'm thinking 1.25 UHC. :-) this time of year is fun! Everyone's all sorts of clouded up and getting a lot of cool stuff! Merry Christmas!

I got a 1.25" GSO dielectric diagonal for my mak. Not sure I'll notice a difference in view, but it is certainly better made than the stock diagonal. I also have a Celestron Evolution 8 showing up on Tuesday.
Just got done with a huge breakfast. My wife pulls out all the stops for breakfast on Christmas. I'm a very lucky guy in many respects.
I wish each of you a safe and lovely holiday season and an even better 2016.

Dang Susan! Is there anything left at the astro store?

    Congrats on the excellent gifts!

Well, while I've added to my EP collection lately, these were not gifts, as I've got a lot of chores to get done to earn these eyepieces (worth it!).

Got to open the present from my wife last night while we were on the phone, but no astro gear. She is at her parent's house 4 hours away from me. Just myself and the cat here today. But all is not lost as I have a ready box of Mac n' cheese for my Christmas dinner, and all the coffee I can stand.

I'll have to wait a while for the EQ platform, however-----I was blessed with the best of the best.....a new girlfriend significantly younger and better looking than me...The icing on that cake is she loves looking at the stars, watching The Jetsons, Twilight Zone, etc etc, AND she knows exactly what 42 is....

Yes, I moved in with her....This is going to work out great......
