Nice, I look forward to hearing what you think of this EP.. I've been looking at it (cautiously) myself.

I have heard that they are really good. Will compare it to my 9mm X-Cel LX & let you know. They are on sale for $90 (with discount code TENEP) at Highpoint Scientific until tomorrow if you're interested.

I've been looking at these so I don't end up going with the Explore Scientific and that's a good price. Let us know how you like it!

I will... Just ordered last night so I'm not sure if it will be here before the sale ends. Regular price for the 15mm Luminos is $99.95 and you can still get 5% off all Celestron items any time by entering ZOEY510 at checkout after the 10% off sale ends tomorrow.

There is one review posted- Celestron Luminos 15mm Eyepiece 1.25" 93432 - Eyepieces & Accessories - Telescope Accessories

For the record, I am in no way shape or form associated with Highpoint... other than a customer. They have taken great care of me since I started this fiasco last year, so I always go to them first after shopping around. To date, they have either been able to match or beat any price I've found on the web; or in a couple rare cases concede when they can't touch a competitor's price and advise me to go with the better deal. In my opinion, that's great customer care.

Luminos came in the mail today along w/my 2" UV/IR and LP filters... Albeit, no SBIG :-(

Anyway, the winter weather is here till Monday so I can't give a first light report yet... But I WILL say that this EP is probably the prettiest EP I have ever seen! I may check it out on some terrestrial stuff later on. Based on how heavy it is, and the fact it seems to be very well-made; I'm expecting good things~

So the Luminos is absolutely wonderful! Awesome FOV, very sharp detail in star fields! Love it... Looks cool too~

Btw the WO diagonal is great too.
