    Default high quality diagonal

I know everyone likes to talk about eyepieces but can anyone give me a comparison on standard issue diagonals vs your higher quality version. would you notice that much improvement in what you are looking at??? I am talking about (lets say) celestron standard vs their xlt version.

    thanks

I have been wondering the same thing. All I have managed to figure out, the price point should reflect the quality. But not knowing the price point of the diagonal that came with the scope makes it very hard

Yes you will notice the difference between a standard diagonal which is about 90%- 94% reflective; and a dielectric coated diagonal which is 99% + reflective.
