    Well I gave it a quick look over at 7:30 am while on my first cup of coffee...and got the same impression as Red Shift...My brain must have a slipping clutch this morning.. some of the types of eyepieces I have never heard of...

    I'll attempt to put my brain into gear later today...

    Nice link Rich. I've heard of many of them, but some are very obscure designs. Makes for interesting reading. Just goes to show that there are so many ways to an end. The advances in optic design and construction is an interesting subject in and of itself.

    Like that Kohler type made by Zeiss back in 1960 ..120 degree field ..Wonder if it is clear out to the edges ...I personaly would like to check one of them out in my scopes and see what it looked like ..

    They have around 32 types listed and they also mention that did not list them all ...I had no clue there were so many ...
