With my new xt10g coming this week, I decided to take advantage of my bill me later account. I've read that faster telescope benefit bet from televue ep's. I have always wanted to try them out to see. I am happy with my 32mm & 26mm q70, so I couldn't justify the 31mm nagler. Plus the pure weight of it somewhat concerns me. I don't want to go through a balance issue right away on the goto and tracking on my new scope. You think telescope makers would at least make sure their scopes function properly with even the heaviest ep's in them.
Anyways, I bought two televue ep's. I got the 13mm angler giving me a nice wide 92x, and a 6mm radian giving a good 200x for good high power viewing. My shorty Barlow gives me two more powers of 184x & 200x. These two I think will round out my ep's really well.
32mm, 26mm q70's, 17mm baader hyperion, new 13mm angler, 9mm Orion on edge planetary, and new 6 mm radian, plus my shorty 2x Barlow.
I can't wait for them to come in and my scope to see if they are really worth the money. I have a feeling I will be happy.

I have a feeling you will be happy as well. I love my TV pieces and the sharp, wide views are just awesome. I'd like to add a 5mm Radian or Nagler eventually (maybe next time there's a sale).

The eyepieces are something you'll keep from scope to scope and are a worthwhile investment in my opinion.

    Ricky,

Consider purchasing a TV powermate instead of using the shorty barlow. The difference is really remarkable. No loss of quality and clear views to the edge. Not heard of a TV angler, so I assume you mean Nagler, which is one fine eyepiece and will work beautifully in your new scope. Well done.
