    anyone have much experience with the bst explorer's ?

    I have the 8mm in a 10" Dob. I like it a lot. Its not sharp right to the edge but you should be ok in your refractor. It feels and looks good too. Great value at ~£40

    i think its probably fair to assume they are mainly a u.k eyepiece. cant see them sold in u.s online .

    ive found they are also packaged as astrotech paradigm e/p's.
    this helped somewhat as i could look up reviews in the states too.
    seem very good for mid price range . with 60 degree fov.
