A barlow is inserted into the focuser draw tube. Then an EP is inserted into the barlow.

Perhaps we could be more helpful if we had a picture of the components.

For example only-- I assume this is your scope (tube)?
    Sky-Watcher SkyMax 127 SynScan AZ GOTO 127mm Maksutov-Cassegrain

Put the "L" shaped diagonal into the back of the scope-- then put an eyepiece into the diagonal. Right now you have two eyepieces and two different magnifications if you use only the eyepieces.

However if you first insert the 2 x barlow into the diagonal and then insert say the 10mm eyepiece--- the 10mm becomes a 5mm -- if you do the same thing with the 25mm it becomes a 12.5mm.

    So you actually have 4 eyepieces-- 5mm, 10mm, 12.5mm, and 25mm.

Don't buy any more eyepieces until you have used the scope for several months. The moon filters will dim the bright moon and is very handy to have-- I need more info on the .2 Meade filter?? to figure out what it is? Maybe someone will know? I really don't think it is a .2 focal reducer???

Ditto on Joe's Post. Learn to use what you have before buying more stuff. Read your Manual several times, until you understand your scope. Use Google to get more info on it. Read 'The Backyard Astronomers Guide', 'Turn Left At Orion', and 'NightWatch' to give yourself a good background in Astronomy and make great references too. Also, read the 'Stickies' at the beginning of each Forum, as they contain lots of important information for new folks.
