    Default Dropped by Hyperion Zoom

Didn't fasten the bolts hard enough and my Baader Hyperion Zoom 2-24mm MarkIII slid out of the scope along with diagonal breaking the knobs on the diagonal.

Took me half day to free the EP form broken diagonal and visually the EP seems fine as I tested it on some terrestrial targets with Orion 400mm refractor. Looks and zooms nice.

However when I shake the EP there is a dull sound from inside as if there is something large waggling inside. I don't recall if it was the case before the fall.

Can someone who has the same EP verify if it is the case?

Just been shaking mine and agree with Dave!

It's to be expected as it has moving parts, but it certainly doesn't sound as if something is broken, so as long as yours doesn't sound "glassy" I reckon you'll be fine - using it's obviously the best way to check

    Good luck, hope all's ok

Weather finally cleared up and I was able to test the EP on both terrestrial and astronomy targets - worked great in both cases. Big relief
