Personally, I really like the GSO SuperViews. And you can get them pretty cheaply from Agena Astro and OPT. (OPT appears to re-brand them as OPT SuperViews).

The GSO SuperViews appear to be Super Plossls can be had for as little as $45. I think they're a bargain.

Hi . Those GSO superviews sound good? I realise most of you guys are in the U.S or elsewhere (and thanks for all the info re plossls...) does anyone know where i might buy a GSO superview in the UK? The problem I have ordering accessories from the U.S is that they will either not post to UK and/or the taxes kill the savings made against the dollar.
Any more thoughts re' alternative super plossl 32mm good quality and still on a budget then i would be most interested. cheers

I believe that both Agena Astro and OPTCorp will ship internationally. I can't help you on the taxes, though.

It also turns out that SuperViews are sold by Moonfish: Moonfish Group Store

They don't seem to be selling them in 32mm, however. They do list a 30mm but I don't know by whom it is made.

Prices are awfully steep compared to what you have to pay here in the U.S.

Have y'all considered overthrowing a government which shafts you so badly on taxes and such? I just can't see a good excuse for how much you have to pay. . .

Bottom line JT is that you got an Antares Plossl, rather than a GSO, whichs costs a few pounds more. See "Scopes and skies" website. If they charged you the cost of the Antares, fine. However if, like me, you ended up paying the GSO price for the Antares EP, I would take it back and ask for your money back, or an upgrade to the GSO.
That's what I did and the GSO (they're sold as "Revelation" EPs) are significantly nicer than the Antares.
