    Default Eyepiece Recommendation

So, I've got my new telescope ordered:

    Celestron C6-SGT

It comes with one 25mm Plossl EP. Should I consider 1 or 2 more, or just wait and use the one eyepiece it comes with for awhile? Any recommendations on what eyepieces would be good for that scope? Also, can someone recommend a a barlow? I know I'll want one of those. I should also add that I wear eyeglasses and have an astigmatism, so eye relief is important. That is primarily why I think I should go ahead and order at least 1 or 2 eyepieces now. TIA!

I would recommend a Celestron/Zhumell 8/24mm zoom. I have one of these eyepieces, and while its not top of the line optical perfection, it is a very good eyepiece. If you purchase one of these, and a barlow you will have magnifications from 4mm to 25mm. Virtually a whole case of magnifications in 3 opticals. Origonal 25mm. 8/24 zoom and a barlow. You can still purchase some top of the line ep's down the road if you discover a need for them. Just my thoughts.

Celestron C9.25. Atlas EQG mount. Canon 500D unmodded, Celestron ST80 guide scope, SSAG, Meade 6.3 FR, Thousand Oaks dew control with Dewnot straps. Zhumell 8/24mm Zoom, 2"Gso Superview 42mm, Meade 2"QX wide angle 30MM, Meade 1.25 EP and filter set. Tasco 10x50 Zhumell 20x80 bino and a few other odds and ends.
Now where did I put that clear sky button!
