    Default No collimating tool?

If you do not have a collimating tool, you can make one out of a plastic 35mm film canister.
The black type with a gray lid. Drill or punch a small pinhole in the exact center of the lid and cut off the bottom of the container. Insert your new collimating cap into the focuser in place of a regular eyepiece.

Astronomy Hacks is a great book with a lot of good tips in it.

you can also make one by unscrewing the bottom off an EP,..and take the cap that fits that end ,.,and drill a small hole in its center,.,O+O
