Well I bought one anyway and FYI it is compatable. At first I thought it was defective because it kept pointing NW when it was leveling and slewing to find North. After re-setting and re-entering site, date, time and re-training the drive I thought I had it. Nope. Still pointing NW. As I was scrolling through the set up menu in the telescope configuration I found "calibrate sensors" listed. Huh, lets try that. Same thing again, pointing NW and it asked to center Polaris and press "enter" So I went outside and set up and waited for it to get dark. Yippee, now it seems like it's working. I shut down and restarted and selected the 2 star easy alignment. Oh, now I'm really getting pi$$ed. Still pointing NW. This time I just let it do it's thing and it selected and went to the first alignment star. First alignment star somewhat close, but most definatly better than before. I centered first star and it continued on to the next alignment star. Somewhat close again, centered star and got alignment sucessful message. Ok, now see if it will be close when I try Polaris again. Ok, now we are getting somewhere. Polaris not exactly centered, but visable using 26mm eyepiece. It started clouding up so I had to call it a night but at least I now have it set up fairly well. Tonight, if the weather co-operates I well give it another go. I still have to align the red dot, but that's a piece of cake.
