I have the lower model Power Tank Lithium and have not had any problems. I've run my AVX for 9 hours with it. Hope you get this sorted out. On my model one quick press powers the usb ports, 2 quick presses powers the scope. The third press turns it off.

Sorry to hear about your power tank pro. I have a regular old lead acid battery power tank for three years and it has worked well. Maybe not though. The power charging jack quit working a few months ago. It was soldered to the circuit board and the foil had cracked. I had to solder a jumper wire to fix it.
Moral of the story is I should have gone to Harbor Freight and bought a jump starter as JT suggested.

    Thanks,
    Jim

My little version of the lithium power tank works the way the manual indicates , press the power on button twice to start the power flow and the four indicator lights should blink in sequence indicating the unit is in power mode. The PowerTank Pro manual indicates the same.

Get the Harbor Freight Power Pack. Is basically the same as the Celestron Power Tank but cheaper. I have two of them and have been using them for the last two years.

Well I received my third new PowerTank Pro and it’s a DOA as well. I have asked Celestron for a refund.
