Just a suggestion : Use a small box heater while the telescope is acclimating. For a dobsonian, just place the heater near the back of it while the dob is pointing straight up. For a cassegrain or refactor, let them acclimate off the mount with the heater facing them. However make sure to turn off the heater after about an hour of acclimating.

For a dew heater I went with a USB heater band from Ebay and a 6600 mAh power tank (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Telescope-A...53.m2749.l2649). I made my own dew shield out of a foam sheet from Michaels (https://www.michaels.com/foamies-12-.../D058033S.html) and some adhesive backed velcro. So far both have worked well.
