Default Simulation Curriculum SkyFi USB wireless controllers. What are their differences?

I'm not referring to the SkyWire or BT models. I see there is a SkyFi 3 which looks totally different than mine, which is just a boxy looking plastic case with an RJ-11, USB, power adapter socket and a slide switch on the bottom. I can't find any comparison charts anywhere. I presume SF3 is the latest and greatest, and it apparently has rechargeable batteries. Trying to find out if there are SF1 and SF2 predecessors, and if so which one is mine since there is no such designation mentioned on the packaging or instructions. Guess I'm too lazy to fill out SC's extensive question form to ask this simple question. Can anyone point to or tell me the differences? Just curious

Meade uses the SkyFi 3 for there version of Wi Fi/Scope control. They just re label the case with a Meade sticker, They call it the Stella WiFi. I have one, real happy with it.

If I ever had to replace I would go with this "generic" Wi/Fi Serial adapter and save some $$

Serial RS232 Wi-Fi Adapter with Advanced Functions

I can't find any info on a SF1/SF2 so I would imaging they were called something else or never existed.
