Default Need help identifying an accessory

I found this accessory in my garage. I'm not sure what it is. To me it looks like a filter of some kind but for all I know it might not even be for a telescope. It does not fit my 1.25 inch eye pieces. It kind of poorly fits my finder scope. The best hints I can give are that it has a number line type thing in the middle of it. The number line reads 54321012345. The bottom is also threaded so it can screw into something. Not sure what it is or could be for so I was hoping someone could tell me. Maybe it helps identify distance or magnitude. Maybe it isn't even a telescope accessory. I never purchased this accessory it just randomly showed up in my garage. Thanks for the help.

Yeah I was trying to include pictures but they were the wrong file type. I will take some pictures with a different camera and see if that helps. Sorry about that.

I recently bought a 6inch dobsonion reflector. Although I found the part before I got the telescope. Thank you for the input.
