Default Jasper swivel mount for the Jasper Always GLP

Does anyone have any experience with this swivel mount?

    JasperLaser.com: Welcome!

I want to mount a Jasper Always GLP. It is fatter than the normal pointer at 3/4" diameter hence it will fit in neither the Orion laser mount nor the StarFinder Mount.

If you have used this mount, I wonder how easy it is to dial in. It's obvious how it turns for azimuth, but not so obvious as to how it adjusts up and down in its mount for dialing it in as a finder device.

Jim, I'm trying to decide between that one and this one:

Skyline Deluxe Green Laser Pointer & Bracket | Orion Telescopes

I just can't find anyone who has experience with the Orion GLP - I like the setup a little better in that I can move it around easily on the OAT of my Celestron without having to deal with tape.

Hmm Just my preference, I would go with the Orion one if I were making the choice. Either one will get the job done. I like the switch screw on the collar. Makes it so the laser will stay on instead of having to hold it down for it to fire. Like i said though, either one will work.

I own the orion one. It works excellent, and is easy to dial in with the mount package. The mount is plastic, so you've got to be careful if you move your scope around a lot.

The one really nice thing about the orion GLP, is that it comes with a ring that you screw on to the laser pointer, to have a on/off switch controlled by a thumb screw. Very handy to use instead of holding the button in.
