It is the asterism of Ursa Major, also called the Big Dipper.

Yep - except that it's the 'saucepan' or 'Big Dipper' which is an asterism.
Big Dipper has many names, in UK it is commonly known as 'The Plough' - or sometimes 'Charles' Wain'

Ursa Major is the constellation which contains the 'saucepan' asterism.
