The surface of this comet shows significant evidence of electric arc machining. Check it out.

A more recent evaluation of the comet by TTP scientists!

I don't really know how anyone can consider plasma physics pseudo science, but ok.

Laboratory experiments show undeniable similarity to the electric comet theory.

I am not a creationist, but I think EU theory has it's merit and should not be overlooked.

Finally, we will see what the Rosetta data reveals. Podcasts don't really say to much other than people talking.

I'm fine with plasma physics, just not with sparkling nonsense.

Looks like one harpoon will be fired. I wonder if the lander has a backup harpoon? Of course it might not need a backup if it were, let's say, a spring-loaded affair. Hard for mis-fires to happen with compressed coil-springs.

Ah. The newest on 67P! And on a Sunday. New pics of the beastie, along with a 3D pic. Get out your glasses. Lots of surprises.

Turns out the harpoon may not work, a the surface of the comet is not as icy as they thought.

Hi Solrian. A great link to this article and image of 67P. There certainly is a wide variety of surface features on this comet. Also, I can't find my old cardboard 3D glasses from many years ago, so I put my very seldom used planetary filters to good use today. I first tried using a #25 red filter and a 80A blue filter held over my eyeglasses with one in front of each eye. It worked fairly good, but I still saw a lot of red in the picture. So next, I tried and found that using the #25 red filter and a #58 green filter really makes the 3D comet image jump out at you. So, I got to view the 3D image afterall. Thanks for finding and sharing this latest update with us Solrian, and the best of regards.
