    It's called Jennifer's System.

    Just remember that, OK?

    The sun is Jennifer's Sun.

As concerns the universe - it's The Universe that Jennifer's Galaxy is in

I'm fine with the "Solar System". If our local star is named "Sol" then stick with that works.

There are many suns in our galaxy. Therefore there are many solar systems in our galaxy. Whether there are planets or not, a "system" still exists. Many of our peer (if you will) suns are inclined to be binary or poly star arrangements but are still systems.

The best way to distinguish our solar system from the others would be location and/or chemical make-up. Our Sun, being a Population 1 star, has a quite different make-up than many of those of its size. Also, it's particular location adds to it's being somewhat unique.

Guillermo Gonzalez, an astronomer at the University of Washington in Seattle notes that the sun has 50 percent more heavy elements—carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, magnesium, silicon, and iron—than other stars of its age and type. In this, our sun stands out among its peers.

Maybe we could refer to these differences while attempting to give our solar system it's unique name.

    Just food for thought.

Well, you can't just rush into something like this although it was answered a while back.
