    Sol does it for me.

As for the other "solar" systems, that does bring up an interesting question.
I think the other systems should, in fact be called "stellar" systems.
(Anyone want to join me suggesting this new nomenclature to the stuffed shirts over at the IAU?).

I agree in that "Solar System" is too generic. Solar shouldn't have to be the proper name because the sun is a star. So esentially any planetary system orbiting a star would be called a solar system. Unless the star would have to be a yellow dwarf to be called a "Sun". But I think I'll just call Home

I'll chime in with what "I" would possibly name our system:

Howabout the "Sol-9 System"? (9 Planets)....Because to me, Pluto is still a Planet! But, for those who disagree....you can call it "Sol-8 System", I guess? hehe

A couple of other related questions. Given the new theories about the possibility of there being an infinite number of Universes(multiverse)--we now have to give a name to OUR universe. What should it be called???
AND--what is the name of the void in which all of these universes exist?? Are they spherical in shape, like our universe supposedly is??

    A couple of suggestions:
    "THE Universe"
    "Here"
