    Oh I have to say, after reading the articles linked by Ezsharkman and olddogg60 Bill, that even though the science team can't say it, it needs to be said somewhere. "Hallelujah!" If it wasn't for those rovers, we would know as much about Mars as we do about Pluto still. Even if it is contaminants from Earth, it just might be possible that Mars, when it had some albeit acidic water, could have supported Earth microbes for a brief part of it's history. Now that would be a fascinating discovery, too. More so even if we could find out that those microbes did some evolving in the Martian environment before the ecology failed. I certainly hope it becomes a booster for more research. PlanetVac: Sucking Up Planetary Regolith | The Planetary Society is a project that just might be precursory to deliver samples back to Earth for those lab tests to search for microbial life.

    Woot! Im excited again, I cant wait till they release more information. Its like the countdown till Christmas day, I check this thread everyday to see if there is anything new!!
