Default Skyshed Pods in New Zealand

Hi first post here. I was wondering if there is a local importer of Skyshed pods into New Zealand. There was one available on a local auction website 12 months ago which I should have grabbed but we were in the middle of rebuilding down here in Christchurch so I decided not to. I have been looking for a small dome around 2.4m in size but it has become hard work. I read somewhere that someone was importing into NZ but that may have been sometime time ago. Thanks for reading and any suggestion would be great Paul

HI I had read about the Telescope and Astronomy site but and it is a big but the duty coming into NZ will be large making the cost rather prohibitive....maybe. It maybe a bullet I have to bite or consider a roll off roof. Paul

hi Paul I converted a Garden shed once and that worked very well it was the flat roof type and instead of screwing the roof section down it was modified to slide off and the whole thing cost me around $500 au dollars .

    Hi Paul,
These pods were imported into NZ by a close friend of mine but unfortunately he fell ill and passed away. I was given the job to sell off the remaining stock and the dealership was closed down. However you can get them directly from Australia. These pods are very good ,water proof and will last a lifetime in my opinion. I spent many hours with my friend assembling these around some parts of our country..
    Hope you find one.
    Cheers
    Graham.
