Default Lunt Solar Systems Ha Etalon-Filter-System B600 B1200 Blocking Filters?

    Hi

After plenty of research (months), finally settled on something affordable (in hundreds not thousands - actually back to drawing board as the aperture 35mm is too small for my scopes!) for solar viewing and imaging for future use.

Does anyone know what would be better price/value:

A 80mm refractor (ST80) with the B600 set from Lunt:

Lunt Solar Systems 35mm Ha Etalon-Filter-System with B600 Blocking Filter for 1.25'' Focuser

Or an 100mm ED100 Pro refractor with the B1200 set from Lunt:

Lunt Solar Systems 35mm Ha Etalon-Filter-System with B1200 Blocking Filter for 2'' Focuser

The sets are $699 and $899 respectively. Maybe a Christmas present, also birthday is coming soon.... Wife please take notice here

I really do not want to buy more scopes (although another one is appleaing lol). The estimated bandpass is <0.75 Angstroms, with another filter I could eventually get it to <0.55.

Any ideas whether I should not waste time/money and get a dedicated solar scope instead (wait and then buy when afford it)?

an 100mm ED100 Pro refractor with the B1200 set from Lunt:
For me this is the best.

Excellent diameter. ED 100 is great. And finally you have bandpass 0.55A who give excellent solar surface details.

My coronado MAXSCOPE SM 60mm D.S Ha gives 0.5A bandpass fantastic view of the sun.
