Default Quark Chromosphere vs Prominence model?

    Quark Chromosphere vs Prominence model.

I have the chromosphere, with the solar minimum and most of the "action" being on the limb, how much brighter and obvious are the proms when imaging with the Prominence model?

    Is anyone using both?

I have the Chromosphere model. I am very pleased with the visual clarity of the proms, and surface. I heard that the proms version gave poor detail on the suns disc, so I bought the chromosphere version. I think if you use the correct gain and exposure, you can get decent prom details in the chromosphere version. You can get more detail with the proms version, but I doubt its that much better than the chromo version, due to the small size of the proms, and the wispy nature of them.

Check out my solar site at http://www.solarhead.net you will probably ask why I am even thinking about the Prom model as I do ok with the Chromo model but I guess I am a gear head. There are also the Calcium models....

Yes, I know you're very well equipped. I would love to have more ! But talking economy, the Chromosphere model looks ok. Just need to get more experience in imaging in the day!
