Default Live HA feeds from SLOOH

I just joined the remote telescope site SLOOH, not for the H-alpha but for the DSO possibilities. With my skies now Bortle 8 (due to new factory 300 yards away and large mall 300 feet away) I can still do imaging and I can control the scope and cameras (to some degree)

BUT they have a live feed running during daylight hours, of course, with a 60mm Lunt. Unlike GONG it is live and shows all the turbulence, sometimes it is surface others it is proms and it normally gets about 1/2 of the disk. Kind of neat.

They have a free trial and then the Apprentice level is $5 a month, with that you can take snapshots (PNGs) of the live feed or of what they call missions as you watch the EAA evolve on the screen. I joined at the high level, Astronomer, since you get the raw FITS images to work on.

here is a snap from this morning, Of course to stack you would need to take dozens of individual shots, easier to set up my scope but you can check the surface or proms also we are cloudy most days and right now I can't get out since my wife had an operation and I am waiting on her hand and foot

Thanks Ben. Those are superb looking pictures. Makes me want to rejoin SLOOH. I only went to apprentice and left, but will reconsider. I am starting autoguiding, and will start planetary and solar and lunar AP soon. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes for you and your family.

I joined last month, 405 missions so far. The fits are nice to work with. Some issues at times but really fun.
