Default Coronado 60mm RichView tuning question

I have been using the Coronado more and have experimented with the RichView tuning lever. All the way to the left (from the eyepiece end) and I get nice prominences and little surface detail. So adjusting to the right I don't get much surface detail and the prominences disappear. One day with the lever all the way to the left I saw prominences along with Sun Spots.

Here is the question. I see there are additional screw holes to the left and right of the lever. Sort of like you can reposition the lever and get additional adjustments. I saw nothing about this in the manual and thought I would ask if anyone has moved the lever to a different screw hole?

    Thanks in advance.

You can relocate the lever to allow adjustment for changes in altitude, as the scope would have been tested for the manufacturers altitude, which may be different to yours.

    I agree with Gus.
When I had my Coronado 60 ( a few years ago now ) I had to move the tuner a couple of slots, then I could get Prominences at one end and surface details at the other. Basically, all you are doing is adjusting the distance of 2 pieces of glass.

Thanks much for the replies. One more question. When you got the Prominences was the lever to the left or right (when viewed from the eyepiece end)?

Sorry, too much water has gone under the bridge for me to remember.
