Default Attention ALL Solar Enthusiasts !!!

This is an open invitation to join a newly formed and very active group with ALL solar interest in mind . The Group was started by Olddogg60 (Bill) and originally called The Coronado User Group . The original intent was not to exclude anyone with a solar interest . After some discussion it was decided to change the name of the group to better reflect it's goals . Bill has created an exciting and fun place to share and enjoy all things solar and includes a great deal of information on solar imaging as well as a consistently growing album with many fine images .
The common intent and interest of this group is to grow all solar interest and is not brand loyalty , so it does not matter if your scope is Lunt , Coronado , DayStar (my personal dream) White light or even no scope at all . (if you don't have one we would be happy to tease you into one )

The bottom line here is that all are welcome and becoming more diversify'd should bring more knowledge to the group and everyone wins .

The welcome mat is rolled out so if you have any solar interest we would love to have you become part of this progressive and sometimes entertaining group .

Hello Mike. Well, you have said it all. I have never seen such a robust membership grow so fast. There are members with excellent viewing and photographic advice on here, that are willing to share. There is always an abundance of tips and tricks on equipment, and the friendliness of the members is top notch. I have never seen anything like this anywhere else. Hydrogen Alpha solarscope users, white light filter users, or no scope yet, are all are welcomed here. Thanks for your announcement thread Mike, and I add come one, come all, to the fascinating world of solar astronomy.

Very well said Mike! I couldn't have done as good myself, that is why I asked you to do it. DayStar is a personal dream for me too. Along this line, since yesterday we have a member that is a Lunt owner and a new member today with white light equipment. This is just what we are looking for folks. We want all solar enthusiasts to join together and share their knowledge and interest in all things solar.
Edit: I should add that I was gone Mike, honest, just got back.
