    Smile New PST User

About three weeks ago I purchased a Coronado PST solar scope. I would warn everyone that this is another of those slippery slopes that you can go down in amateur astronomy . I was so enthused that I ordered a second stack (SME-40 Etalon) for my scope before the scope arrived. I did view singled stacked for a short time before my SME-40 arrived. I now start out my sessions single stacked and then add the second stack for more detail. I have been sketching my almost daily viewing and have started to do some solar imaging. I started with a Celestron Neximage which could ultimately produce better images then I can. Before I had gotten too far I bought a DMK 21 Mono Camera on the advice of Theo (THEO-0070 and Mike (MG877). These two individuals have been of immense help and I can't thank them enough. Second warning !!! This is very addictive to say the least. I will attach an image that I made today of some off the prominence activity today.

A great area of prominence here buddy. If you want help for anything and i can do i`m beside you.

WELCOME AGAIN TO THE SOLAR TEAM AND KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN. YOU SEE FANTASTIC THINKS.

I have had my PST for a few years now. I am currently awaiting the arrival of a second etalon - Woodland Hills in the US have an offer on that I just couldn´t refuse. Certainly a very addictive aspect of astronomy, and us solar viewers just LAUGH in the face of light pollution.
