Personally i use registax 5. It`s better for me because I regulate the treatment of the picture in a better degree.

I need video tutorials and many of them! There was one made by a guy from Ireland or Scotland that was excellent, but I forgot to bookmark it, dang!

I would like to know what processes Theo used, he mentioned DMK 21 monochrome, is that a CCD imager?

Yes DMK is a ccd imager. The proccess..?? First registax and proccess colour by photoshop CS4

All I have is my Canon SD790 point and shoot, I don't even have the universal bracket for it and I do think I would need that.

use your canon but only afocal for me. This is my opinion. Afocal photograph working better on PST.

But I've always wondered how do these AP people arrive at how many frames to take and for how long? I can't get my head wrapped around it and how does the little PST Theo is using come up with images that are so much more detailed and close up than the visual observations?

Frames mmmmmmmm. The power of DMK 21 MONO. I work with 60 frames on my DMK21. And capture videos from 500 to 1500 frames. My PST works only with SKYWATCHER BARLOW 1.5X. Other barlows means no focus. And remember with EQ5 base without motor.

I'm thinking his PST is at least a double stack, is it not? With that kind of detail you would think so.

Yes it`s DOUBLE STACK with SM 40mm.

I would be one happy camper if I could one day produce images like Theos art work.

All of you, you can produce the same images. And i`m not an expert on sun guys. I`m an amateur solar observer and making all this because i love the sun.

I didn't get the 2 page manual Batoka mentioned, maybe I should try to find and download it. More information the better.
