Default First shoot of the Sun with XT8 plus.

Hello. I recently bought an Orion XT8 plus, as already told in the welcome post,
it's has been some very cloudy nights, today it was an opening during the day
and decided to give a try of the sun filter that comes includes in the package of the Orion XT8 Plus.

Not the fancy, spectacular photos that i saw it in the forum
but here is the photo of what is expected with the xt8-plus and the filter supplied.

    regards,

Nice work! Solar viewing and imaging can be a great way to while away the day.

    Good job.

The sun is currently smack dab in the middle of an eleven year "solar minimum". Basically, there are not the "normal" numbers of sunspots, so white light photography and observations are pretty sparse. This time next year should be starting to get better.

    Thanks for the photo.

Well. it's good or know that solar activity is really down, not so good for solargazers...

Even though, i was very lucky to cough the sun with 2 tiny sun spots, i went to the SOHO obeservatory at Nasa, and downloaded a photo at the same time took mine(28-05-2017),
    and you can compare..
