Skywatcher 130M Focuser

Recently purchased a skywatcher 130M. I am interested in upgrading the focuser. I don't want to do a whole lot of changes to the tube. Any suggestions on replacement focusers? Thanks for the help in advance.

i dont think you wanna put alot of money in the 130mm, you might try apogee inc, or scopestuff for a focuser, im understand the impression you want it for 2" EP,s- if you want it for a vibration issue- try adjusting and relubing it, that 130mm should be on a larger mount though if you got the EQ2- keep and eye out for a used EQ3

I have been looking around for the right type of lubrication. The base of the focuser is plastic. I can't find a lube that isn't petrolium based. Any suggestions?

White Lithium Grease should do the trick.

Lithium grease attracts dust like mad. Use graphite instead. You can get some fancy spray on stuff from an auto parts store, or just disassemble the parts, take your number 2 pencil and "scribble" on the affected parts. Works great!
