    Default Looking for: "Polar illuminator" for star adventurer mount



    Can't seem to find a replacement for my Star Adventurer for a decent price. It's always $50+ from Europe. Any alternatives in North America?

    I initially bought a 3D printed collar that was made from fluorescent plastic, but it wasn't really worth it.

    Now, I find it easier just to shine a red light down the end of the polar scope when I'm setting up - you can move it around so you can see the 'clock' without drowning out Polaris.
