Its natural for us to see patterns in the world around us so we have to be careful not to ascribe too much significance to normal events. Planets and stars have formed alignments uncountable times in the past. These have no impact on us or our lives and should be viewed as momentarily interesting rather than portents or omens.

I quite enjoy spotting palindromic dates, these are ones that read the same backwards as forwards such as 10/11/01. It doesn't mean anything or have any significance its just mildly interesting :-)
