    Default seeking Apogee info

    Hi all,

I recently took possesion of an Apogee 6" refractor. It supposedly is an f/8, and I'm going to guess it is a 1200mm focal length. Other than the Apogee name on the dew shield, there are no markings, model numbers, anything. Is there a good resource for Apogee info?, it resembles their newer Galileo series, but is an older scope. I tried emailing Apogee, but got no response. I would just like to get the specs on this.
    thanks,
    Pat

Congratulations!I had one, Pat, and I miss it greatly! Awesome optics and views. As for spec's, what do you reference? To confirm focal length, measure the OTA length and devide by aperture. For more, google on! If you can't find a contact number for the manufacturer, look of a dealer who can fill you in. Seems I recall Optics Planet sold them. Their website may have info, even tho' its discontinued.

Enjoy that "big puppy", its a keeper!
