I love all the ringing endorsements here!

The bit that gets me about the 90mm scope, irrespective of its dubious quality and even more dubious value-for-money, is the quoted postage to Australia: US$640.99!!!! (I reckon I just about could fly to the US for that!) That makes a grand total of US$890.98 + 10% Aussie GST charges.

    Not really a bargain...

I see that even US delivery is quoted as US$182 from Maryland: Ouch!

It looks to me like the seller doesn't really want to sell any: and to any potential buyers out there I would say "Don't be crazy!"

    - Dean

(PS: at least the scary pink one that Bigzmey mentioned is only $35 to send to Oz!)
(PPS: I can get the Skywatcher version locally on an AZ3 mount for $A350, or US$280...)

Better can be had for what they are asking. Personally I'd find a vintage Japanese made Tasco myself. New you'd be better off getting something with the Bresser name from Skywatcher's site or from Vixen. This is most likely made by Synta or GSO. Lots of CA I bet (chromatic abberation) and color fringing. The mount is an EQ-1 and not all that bad for what it is. You can add a motor to the RA axis and they actually work OK.

It would be nice if you list your equipment in your signature so we all know what you are using. This is done upper right hand corner "SETTINGS" then lists on the left "EDIT SIGNATURE". It helps to avoid any confusion and assists in any possible advice given.
