Default Bresser long focal length refractors

My banking account is never going to recover if this keeps happening!
It seems more companies are starting to bring back the long focal length achromatic refractors! Bresser will be releasing 2 next year, a 90mm f/13.3 and a 102mm f/13.2

There are a few threads in other forums that a people have mentioned that a 115mm or 120mm f/13 or f/15 would be nice to include in that mix.

    Hello !
With a F=1300 mm and D=102mm, the smaller magnification you may have is (pupil exit of 6mm) 17 and the focal length of the eyepiece is 76 mm !!!
With such refractors, you'll have the downside of Cassegrain or Maksutov scopes (long focus) with a small aperture. In my opinion, the main advantage is the aberrations are easily (read with less money) corrected.

Nice to see long focal length designs. While not overly versatile one would argue these "classic" refractors are pretty cool. The main issue is with mounting such long refractors they need something rather more sturdy than your average mount.

While not at the level of an f15 refractor I've always fancied one of these (f/11) Before they had in pearl white.

Yes but it's the sub aperture corrected 300mm Mak that might cause me to skip lunches. The price may well put me off though......

Nope! Second read found price. I may be doomed.

I found the Mak quite interesting adaption of the design. I am looking forward to seeing some reviews of its perfomance.
