Default Favorite up grade to your dob?

What has been your best upgrade to your reflector? Best bang for the buck. With all the lights around my backyard i think controlling stray light would be a good place to start. I'm thinking of adding a few shield and flocking the upper ring. What about adding baffling?

The best upgrade I did was to add a RACI finderscope and Bob's Knobs to the primary and secondary.

I have knobs for the primary and considering them for the secondary mirror. Working on getting the finder set up along side the Telrad.

Flock it! Adds a nice boost to contrast which can make or break faint fuzzy finding.

I really enjoy my RACI/Telrad combination. Peas and carrots.

I know this is a controversial issue but I have been experimenting with my LX90 and a green laser pointer in the place of my 50mm viewfinder and its works very well especially for those high alignment stars thats a problem with a viewfinder and can force you onto your knees. Once I have calibrated it I can put a star perfectly in the middle of the view of a 13mm eyepiece by just standing next to the scope. But this is something you should only use when viewing alone. I have found a mount for a pointer by Orion and considering to put it on my Dobson.

A Rigel Quickfinder on My Z10 - very helpful. Also, I have a telrad on my big Dob, but that came with the scope.

For me, it was adding the RACI/Telrad combination, and the Telrad does most of the work, also Bob's Knobs was worth doing.

Ditto with the Telrad/RACI combo. It's killer for star hopping.
Another useful upgrade was mounting two plastic trays on the base below the EP tray. It's a great place to stow EP caps and other loose items.
