Default NASA’s Curiosity Mars rover snaps stunning selfie

“The selfie is composed of 57 individual images taken by the rover's Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI), a camera on the end of the rover's robotic arm.” The selfie was taken on Jan. 15 and is the last one captured by the rover on Mars’ Vera Rubin ridge, before heading off for new adventures. You can see the amazing NASA/JPL photo and read more about this here, at:

Mars hmmmmm not my idea of a holiday destination... If its so inhospitable for us to live there and we will be underground or in buildings and having to supply our own air why aren't they just concentrating on making underground dwellings or safe dwellings here , while they continue finding a habitable planet... its going to be a long while before earth is as desolate as mars surely ? lets boldly go somewhere better...... as a tax paying earthling don't I get a say ? or why aren't they just doing it all on the moon ,it is accessible and just as challenging surely except for the impossible distance of mars... or do they want to have a far flung diplomatic post to welcome visitors way out there ? I know I know , I'm rambling on ... its what I do

Hmmm..so NASA fitted it with a selfie stick? Good thinking.
