    Default Jupiter Tonight:Closest till 2019



    Jupiter will be at opposition tonight & marks the closest to Earth the beautiful Giant will be until 2019. Excellent opportunities for viewing & imaging (weather permitting). I'm looking forward to it! Full story below.

    Yeah, after waiting for a couple of weeks for the clouds to clear, I get a clear night and the wind is blowing at 15-20MPH.

    Was out earlier, didn't know about the closeness, but just managed to see Europa and Ganymede doing a dance, then the damn clouds rolled in and that was that
