Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun and is the third largest in the solar system. It has a mean distance from the Sun of 2.87 billion kilometers (1.78 billion miles).

As like other planets, Uranus also have elliptical orbit. So the distance between Uranus and Sun when its closest to the Sun is 2,735,555,035 km and the farthest distance is 3,006,389,405 km.
