sure if you have the right mount and a tracker on it. You also need a camera too. A better question would be what do you want to take photos of? I have taken photos without a motor/goto simply by holding up a digital camera to the eyepiece. You cant leave the shutter open long or it will blur, so its only good for planets and the moon. Stars / deep sky would be better with a motor and digital camera adaptor.      |
