 Orion SkyQuest XT6 Hello, I have been considering buying a telescope for quite a while, and the Orion SkyQuest XT6 seems like quite a good deal after reading its reviews. However, I live in urban surroundings (though the city centre is not too far away, the part of the city I live in is relatively isolated) where the naked-eye limiting magnitude is approximately 4. Does anyone have experiences with this telescope (or other 6" reflectors) in urban areas? How effective has it been? Thanks.      |

Urban areas are harder to look for space objects because of lighting. you'd have to go far away, maybe 1/2 an hour away from the city then it'll be easier to see space objects through your telescopes. (Note) Never look into the sun!!!)
