    Default Orion xx14i dimensions question

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, but not new to astronomy. I am looking to buy a XX14i here soon and wanted to ask from people who own them already, what are the dimensions of the dob's base? I ask for transport reasons in and out of doors, and whether or not this scope would suffer the "can't fit through the door" syndrome to be wheeled in and out or not.

Thanks in advance for the replies!

I e-mailed Orion for the same information before I got mine, but then found it on the product listing page not 30 minutes later. Here ya go: Assembled Base, 28.5" W x 27" H, 45.4 lbs.

Keep in mind that the XX14i has a collapsible base so the largest piece will be the bottom at 28.5"

I have one. For me it's very awkward to move about. I have two big complaints about this scope. 1) the hand controller: it is very hard to read (especially in cold weather), and the "warp number" flashes by way too fast, and 2) the azimuth movement is not very smooth. Hard to keep objects centered at high mag. I plan on selling mine.
