Default Could you name me some good australian sun sand and sea spots??

Yeah I really want to go to australia again, i have great memories from when i was younger, i was wondering if you could recommend me some great sea spots so i can finally surf somwhere that isn't in the grey miserable rainy area that is cornwall (UK) :P

Also if possibly can you give me the season where it is slightly cooler, i know that this is typical British moaning, but im not fond of really really hot places!

Thanks so much for your help!

The Australian Antarctic Territory comes to mind. Doesn't get too crowded either...
