    That's pretty cool.

I can't help but think this may have something to do with the Missing Sock Problem.

My first thought was that if they have found the odderon, how long before they discover the enderon?

As I read it I have two responses.... 1 serious, 1 not so much.

The serious response has to do with the passage...
But odderons change the picture — these brief patterns we call odderons appear more favorably in particle-particle than antiparticle-antiparticle collisions, which will slightly modify the cross sections.
If true this is huge! This could contribute to solving the matter antimatter asymmetry problem and win someone a lovely trip to Stockholm. Talk about burying the lead!

The not so serious observation has to do with the evolution of terminology since I learned quantum field theory in grad school. When we were drawing Feyman diagrams to calculate we would have these blobbish parts in an area where the particles interacted. We didn't have fancy words for them like "odderon". Nope! We just called them blobs. One of us, a rather chunky fellow named Robert was particularly fond of using them. So his were called Bob's Blobs in honor of the fact that that part of his diagram didn't need to be "blobbed" it could be enumerated in detail.
