For simply sitting back and gazing upon the universe wondering who is up there looking back at me, I am partial to the "Sounds of Silence" done by Simon and Garfunkel. "A horse with no name" is a close second.

Another obvious one: "Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven. To me, it's a drama in three acts, with the stately drifting of clouds in the first movement; clarity in the second, and a crashing thunderstorm in the third. Anybody else hear it that way?

But when I'm out under the stars, I prefer silence.

    Cheers,

Hi GCoyote and all. I was running at half mast yesterday, because I only had one eye available to type, as I had the Lasik procedure on my right eye yesterday morning. Here is another favorite of mine, from 1996, which features the X-Files theme by DJ Dado (the full length version), Orinoco Flow by Enya, and Sacred Spirits Yeha-Noha (Wishes of Happiness and Prosperity). These are from the Pure Moods Vol. 1 cd. You can find it here on Amazon, and scroll down to Vol. 1, at:

I hope that you all enjoy this, and the kindest of regards.
