    It’s funny how what seems common sense to we who are “in the know” goes totally over the heads of those who do not.

    I recently had the experience of testifying in a federal corruption trial of a former state senator as an expert witness. The prosecutor asked some great questions, but when the defense attorneys got up to do their questioning of me, it was all I could do to keep from laughing at a few of them and saying something like “that’s dumb” or “it doesn’t work like that, moron.”

    At one point, one of them asked me a stupid question, and when I answered, she looked at the jury like “Ha! Got him!”

    I said “No, you don’t understand, it doesn’t work like that, blah, blah, blah”.

    “Objection!”
