    Default Stick and tissue :)



    Something I do when it's cloudy out for days on end and run out of images to process and ... just need a break.

    Model airplanes, good ole stick and tissue. Very old school!

    This is going to be a semi scale Super Cub eventually.

    Finally finished the Fuselage for the most part. Came out pretty square, happy with it!

    The Wings and empennage are actually finished but need sanding down etc. and don't have any pictures of them yet. But I am closing in on it

    Looks good, lots of down thrust in the firewall. The wildest one for down thrust I ever built was a kit plane, it had 8 degrees of down. I built it for a guy, to kill some time a few winters ago. It took about 4 days from opening the box until he picked it up covered and ready to fly. Got the maiden report less than 5 minutes after he landed it. Apparently it need a couple clicks of down thrust , and she lived to do it again.

    That sure does look like a lot of fun UM.

    I used to build the little peanut scale models with the kids tissue covered rubber band driven. Similar construction but very tiny. Used to load them up with as many big rubber bands as possible. Sometimes they actually flew pretty well. :-)
    I hope you post a picture of it finished.
