Default Scope is ready for the trip.

Scope is ready for the annual trip to Sin City. Polar scope collimated and cone error has been corrected with some well placed shims. Can't say everything else is ready to go yet, but there ARE priorities....

John (Lowjiber), Bill (Bright_Light), and I are venturing out into the dark desert NE of Vegas to collect very old photons..

Heck Scott... I live here and just started looking at the site today. Now, if I can just find a telescope.

BTW: My better-half, Dana, is coming too. She can run a Dob better that I do.

We'll be about seventy miles due north of town. The Vegas light will still ruin much of the lower southern views, but you'll like it much more than the Colorado River site... Bring Oreos.

    See ya soon!
